Abstract
Here,
Summary:
We are some friends want to start a business and that will
be a partnership business, where Md.Zakaria ashik will be the general partner
and rest of my friends (rubaet –al shafi, nadira aktar and zakia rezwana) will be limited
partners. We choose “gift shop” as our wok field and the name of the git shop
will be “feelings gift shop”(…………………………………….). The location of the gift shop
will be at Dhanmondi. We will invest near about 38 lakh tk, and the profit
& loss will be divided in a 10:7:7:7 ratio. But the general partner has
unlimited liability. We target the middle and upper-middle class people as well
as young generation people. The product of our gift shop will be accessories,
gift cards, show pieces, cosmetics, chocolates, and many other things.
Introduction:
There is a proverb” Time and tide wait for none.” When we spend a second at the same time we lost a second from our life. If we don’t do work at the right time then we have to suffer our whole life. That’s why without wasting our time we decided to start business to make some profit and accomplish our own identity.
As a student it is nearly
impossible to start a business alone. Because we have lacks of experiences,
skills and capital. But to do anything together is not too heard to do. So we
are some friends decided to start a small business which will be a partnership
business beside our study.
Time is going on its own way in
this modern era and many kinds of business are rising. So there are lots of
options in front of us, but now a day’s gift shop is a very profitable business
with a small capital, which will be a perfect business for us. It’s also an
attractive business at the present time with a good profit. That’s why we
choose gift shop as our work field. And we choose “FEELINGS” is the name of our gift shop.

Business Structure:
Our business is a limited
partnership business. Md. Zakaria Ashik is our general partner and Rubaet
Al-Shafi, Nadira Aktar & Zakia Reawana are our limited partners.
Our managing director is Md. Zakaria Ashik. We select him as a
managing director for his an ability to lead with his skills in managing an
organization. He also knows how to control an organization with effective way
& what to do in a right time. He likes to take risks and mad to achieve
that goal too.
Our marketing manager is Rubaet Al-Shafi. We select him because
he is skilled for work in areas related to getting consumers and clients to buy
the organization’s products or services. As a marketing manager he has an
ability to communicate with different types of people.
Our financial manager is Nadira Aktar. We select her as a
financial manager because she is skilled in dealing primarily with an organization’s
financial resources & she matches the source of funds to the type of need.
Our planning manager is Zakia Rezwana. We select her as a
planning manager because she can give many effective plans for our business. planning
product distribution, recruiting key personnel and developing plans,
We all do our duty with
responsibility. Our main objectives is to gain profit in our business.
Agreement of our business:
Our business is in partnership.
So if we want to prevent or lessen misunderstandings in between our partner so
we need to have contractual agreement which is called “articles of
partnership”. Oral partnership agreements, though quite legal, tend to be
recreates and are open to misunderstandings. Written articles of partnership
provide proof of an agreement. For our written partnership agreement we include
the following main features:

Procedures for covering losses:
The general partner Md. Zakaria Ashik has unlimited liability & rest of the
limited partners have the limited liabilities up to there investment.

withdraw: Every partner can withdraw up to 25% according there investment.

No new partners will be added
without the full written consent of all partners.

Procedures for dissolving the
partnerships: In the event of the death for retirement of a partner the
remaining partner will pay the estate or retiring partner the full amount of
the original investment, plus 1.5 times the most recent years gross sales for
all “Feelings Gift Shop” products.
The payment will be made within one year of the death or retirement of the
partner.

At the termination of the
partnership a full inventory and balance sheet will be prepared by our
financial manager. All debts will be paid and all property will be divided
between the partners according to there ratio.
Capital:
Capital is the most important fact in a business. Our total
capital is 38 lacks where the general partner Md. Zakaria Ashik invests 10
lacks and the other limited partners invest 7 lacks individually.

Employ and Salary:
We’ll appoint two persons who were being work for our gift
shop as a sales man. We will be paid for there work. We all our partners
selected different sector to manage according our skills. We will also be paid
by the gift shop for our work. The salary scale will be-

Place
& Target consumer:
In Dhanmondi there are many
private universities and it is a residential area. Here are also some renowned gift
shops in this area. We think that it will be our best place for our gift shop.
That’s why we choose Dhanmondi as our working place.
Our target consumers are middle
and upper-middle class people. But the young generation people are our main
target consumer. Rather that we try to get attention all type of people, so we
decorated our shop in that attractive way.
Products of our gift shop:
Many kinds of product are
available in our gift shop. All these are very attractive product. The products
of our gift shops are-

Accessories: There many attractive accessories
with different design for both boys and girls are available in our gift shop.
And the prices are reasonable here.

Gift Cards: People are like to give cards with
their favorite person of all occasion. So we have a huge gift card collection.
Such as- birthday card, best wishes card, anniversary card, valentine card, Eid
card, friendship card etc. are available here.

Show Pieces: Show Pieces are one of the most
attractive products of any gift shop. We have also a exclusive collection of
show pieces.
·
Cosmetics & Chocolates: We have a small
collection of Cosmetics &
Chocolates. Here the qualities of Cosmetics & Chocolates are very good.
·
Mixed Collection: We have some extra collection
items in our gift shop. Such as- wrist watch, DvDs, hand made products, wallet
etc are available here.
Supplier:
We collect our product from local
market, wholesaler, and rural area at a cheaper rate. We know some people who
give us things from different areas. Sometimes we also collect various things
from different market and place in our country. We don’t produce any product.
Speciality
of our gift shop:
Most of the people in are facing
the problem with gift. They get confused about gift. Because in our country
there is lots of gift shop which is too much expensive otherwise which have low
price but quality is too bad. They want to give their dearest one a simple gift
but best, in short form we can say that “simply the best”. We all the partner
also face the same problem. The speciality of our gift shop is “simply the best”.

Touchy gift collection:
Our product is touchy. We believe it. We search for those products in different
place. So not only it’s touchy its also exclusive .our products are cards, different
types of showpiece, cosmetics chocolate. Key rings, DVD, hand bags, many other
mixed items, which for our customer actually needed.

Reasonable price:
We know our product is very touchy and exclusive. People will think that
definitely it’s expensive. No we sell our product is in reasonable price.

Trendy product:
We also collect home made product. Especially we don’t forget our “Kutir shilpo”. We follow our tradition and our culture. Those
people want to give their dearest one traditional gift we have their desire
product.

Home delivery: We are not selling the
product we also provide delivery service, courier service. Another help which our customer is needed.
·
Fixed Price:
Here the prices are fixed. So there is no chance of bargaining with our respectable
consumer.
The minimum price and maximum
price of our product will be between in 50-1000
tk. All over we can say that our gift shop is simply the best. It has mixed
collection.
Why we are doing this business:

Our gift shop business is a partnership
business. It is easy to start with a minimal government regulation.
- We can easily spend some effective time to this business beside our study.
- It will be easier to control this business for us.
- This business also has the tax advantages.
- By this business we can justify our skills, not only that but also we can develop our lacking of skills too.
- From this business we can command all of our skills together, that is a very good opportunity to us.
- In future this business will be a good financial support for us.
- With this business we can go to closer to our consumer and can make a good network.
Responsibilities:
We have some responsibilities and
we try to do our responsibilities.
- We don’t use pole bags, rather we provide paper bags.
- We use paper made box.
- We don’t sell any kind of illegal items.
- We don’t do or sell anything, which is harmful for our culture and society.
- We don’t use attractive plastic rapping paper, rather then we use paper rapping bag for avoiding land pollution.
- Our shop is free from smoke and we also encourage our consumer to don’t smoke by giving leaflet.
